My Mum, The Face mask 😷 Trendsetter

At the start of the Coronavirus pandemic, I still needed to engage on a daily basis with my Mum who has dementia. So one of the things we did every Thursday was to go for long walks whilst talking and enjoying our time together. The one thing we both needed were face masks to wear whilst we were out and about.

My first attempt at making the masks were not very comfortable, however with a bit of tweaking for comfort and style (my Mum being my initial model), I finally created a winner style!

A range of colours, Africa prints, and checked patterns followed.

So, from posting a few images of my Mum and I on our walks wearing our face masks, I received lots of compliments from family members and friends and was encouraged to present them on social media. I received lots of likes, great feedback and also to my surprise: multiple orders for adults and children. It also gave me the opportunity to raise and donate 20% from my sales to a charity close to my heart: The Alzheimer’s Society. www.alzheimers.org.uk

Thank you to all my customers who have bought one or many of my bespoke face masks and for supporting my chosen charity. 😷😷😷
